About Indiana Environmental Pros
Indiana Environmental Pros is an independent directory of Indiana-licensed asbestos and lead environmental contractors. Every contractor listed here holds an active credential issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).
Our Data Source
Environmental contractor license data is sourced directly from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) bulk license database. We do not rely on self-reported listings or contractor submissions for credential information.
Each profile shows:
- License number (verifiable at IPLA's online portal)
- Credential type (Asbestos Inspector, Project Supervisor, Contractor; Lead Inspector, Lead Contractor)
- Current status (Active, Expired, Inactive)
- License expiration date
- Business name and city (when available in IPLA data)
The database is refreshed automatically. If a license expires or is revoked, the profile is updated on the next refresh cycle.
Indiana Environmental License Types
Indiana licenses asbestos and lead environmental professionals at five credential levels:

- Asbestos Contractor — Company license required to perform asbestos abatement work in Indiana. Must employ licensed supervisors and trained workers.
- Lead Inspector — May perform lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in pre-1978 housing under EPA and HUD requirements.
- Lead Contractor — Company or individual license required to perform lead abatement under EPA RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) rules.
